FITTING LONGER REAR WHEEL STUDS

by Owen Crombie

If you are fitting longer than normal rear wheel studs, (such as Cooper S type) make sure that you drill a hole in the brake backing plate big enough to insert the wheel stud through. This means that if you are unlucky enough to break a stud it can be replaced swiftly without having to remove the hub.
