Sunday 29th January 2023 – Festival of Motoring at Cruden Farm social drive and display

Date Confirmation, How to Register and Convoy Details

Please note this event is on Sunday 29th January – not February as per the first email out (apologies, we thought the email had been recalled).

RACV needs each display car driver to individually register online at

In mid-January, RACV will mail out a green sticker to each registered driver to be affixed to their car.  This will ensure a faster and smoother entry to the event site than in the past.

We will meet at Brandon Park Shopping Centre at 8:15 am (if you want to purchase a coffee there, arrive a little earlier), and a little after 8:30 am Kaz will lead off the convoy bound for Cruden Farm.

Cruden Farm

Remember to bring your chairs so you can relax as you enjoy the crusty bread and cheese (supplied by the Club) in comfort. There will be vans selling coffee or you might bring your own thermos filled with your favourite beverage. Food vans will also be there.

We have applied to have the Club shelter erected but RACV cannot confirm this until a week before the event – so bring your hats and/or rain umbrellas just in case.

If you are going straight to the Farm, Sue and Mike Dore, and Trish and John Niemann will be there to greet you.

Please register with AOMC as above and also RSVP to the Club by emailing the social team at

Looking forward to a wonderful day.

Sunday 26th March 2023 – Jazz is back at Monsalvat

Featuring the Joe Chindamo Trio – book soon so you don’t miss out!

The Club is organising an afternoon of Jazz at Montsalvat followed by a meal at House Of Salad in Eltham.

The concert will be in the Barn Gallery which features not only Montsalvat’s best piano, but a bar in the corner to keep you refreshed.

The music begins at 5:00pm but keep your eyes peeled as we may be getting a tour of Montsalvat prior to the concert.

After the concert, we will all head to the House of Salad where you can BYO wine or purchase it from the restaurant.

Joe Chindamo is a musical polyglot whose art defies classification. While forging an international career as a brilliant jazz pianist – producing 23 CDs, topping Japanese Jazz charts, winning awards (including being inducted into the Bell Award Hall of Fame) and touring the world with the genre’s leading figures, he was working as “first call” pianist on over 60 film soundtracks and performing and recording with a plethora of leading artists from the worlds of opera, jazz, theatre and pop.

So why not join us, Joe, and the other jazz performers?  All you need to do is book online at  TryBooking and then let us know you are joining us. If you aren’t good at booking online then contact a member of Team Social and we will help.
